New importer for Palax firewood processors in the UK

Palax would like to thank their Scottish importer Caledonian Forestry Services Ltd for many years of cooperation. For two decades, the family-run company has been an important partner to Palax, as the owners Jim and Lorna Watt have done pioneering work in both raising the awareness of Palax firewood processors and consolidating their market position in the mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) and previously Ireland for many years. In September, the couple will retire.
“Year after year, Jim, Lorna and company have provided Palax users a service in a class of its own. We are grateful that our excellent cooperation has created a strong basis for the new importer to start working with Palax firewood processors”, says Jyrki Sainio, Export Manager at Palax.
The new Palax importer in the mainland UK will be Powells Forest & Garden Equipment Ltd. The company has previously worked for Caledonian Forestry Services as a sub-dealer.
“The company director Edwin Rusling has been working with us for a number of years as a sub-dealer and has a good knowledge of the Palax processors. We are happy that he is taking over and we know he will take good care of our customers and find lots more to keep flying the Palax flag high”, says Lorna Watt at Caledonian Forestry Services.
“We are very grateful to both Jim and Lorna, and to Palax for this opportunity. At Powells Forest and Garden, we have found the Palax products to be simple, well made and well respected within the industry. As such, we look forward to enhancing upon Caledonian Forestry's work in showcasing the Palax product across the UK”, says Edwin Rusling at Powells Forest & Garden Equipment.
