Palax D420 Pro

The robust Palax D420 is a heavy-duty firewood processor

Technically advanced features and easily implemented upgrade options make the machine an excellent investment for modern firewood log production.

The Palax D420 Pro splits wood quickly and cost-effectively, handling diameters of up to 42 cm. A new feature available for the D420 Pro model is a pressure booster, which optimizes the machine's splitting force. The geometry of the splitting blade—supported from the sides—allows for wood to be split using less force than before. The speed of the wide discharge conveyor—a feature familiar from the Palax D460 model—is adjusted via a rotary knob located on the machine's front panel. The machine adapts to various requirements, whether the firewood is being loaded into a sack, a trailer, or a pile. Discharge conveyor speed control comes as standard equipment on the Pro model. In the Ergo model, this speed control is an optional extra and is operated in the traditional manner from behind the discharge conveyor. A newly designed and shaped safety mesh ensures excellent visibility into the splitting trough.
