The Palax C751 is available in three equipment levels: C751 Smart, Pro+, and Ergo, all of which handle logs up to 30 cm in diameter with their 750 mm carbide blade.
The flagship model, Smart, takes user convenience to a whole new level with a graphical display that allows for setting adjustments and monitoring of key metrics like operating hours, firewood cubic meters, and maintenance procedures. The Smart model also comes standard with the new X-Aim 2.0 splitting wedge height adjustment, which automatically optimizes the splitting to the center of the log. This updated version is integrated into the graphical display, and the sensors that measure log size and movement offer even more precise positioning. This improves splitting accuracy, eliminates the need for calibration, and removes the need for separate X-Aim splitting wedges. Additionally, the automatic in-feed assist simplifies the cutting and splitting cycle, making everything run smoothly at the touch of a button.
In addition to the Smart model, the Pro+ model provides user convenience of intelligently controlled hydraulics. Both the Smart and Pro+ models feature a new half-stroke splitting function, which speeds up the handling of short logs. The advanced diagnostics in the Smart model display fault location directly on the graphical screen, while the Pro+ model uses indicator lights. Adjustable conveyor speed helps optimize log transportation. The stop and reverse functions help quickly resolve potential jams. As standard, both models come with hydraulic connectors, allowing easy attachment of a log table or external actuator to the firewood processor. Optional accessories for the Smart and Pro+ models include a hydraulic oil cooler and a hydraulic laterally pivoting outfeed conveyor.
All Smart, Pro+, and Ergo models feature the intelligent PowerSpeed splitting, which automatically detects the required splitting force and speed, speeding up the work cycle by up to 30%. With a larger hydraulic oil volume, weather-resistant components, and durable Hardox splitting wedges, the machine remains reliable even in hot and demanding conditions. Additionally, all models come with a hydraulic oil level and temperature gauge as standard. The oil tank has been enlarged and can be easily opened for maintenance.
Palax Export Manager Mika Joensuu sees the new Palax C751 firewood processor meeting customers’ needs even better.
“In Central Europe and the UK, Palax machines are used almost year-round for professional purposes. The improved efficiency, enhanced ergonomics, and reduced maintenance requirements from the new features directly contribute to the profitability of firewood businesses. Fault diagnostics help minimize machine downtime by significantly reducing the time spent locating issues. Additionally, spare part costs are expected to decrease even further with these updates.”
