The Palax D460 is a chainsaw-based machine that splits 46 cm thick wood with up to 18 tons of force.
The machine offers the largest splitting diameter and the greatest force in the Palax range. It is best suited to professionals who process large logs of varying sizes.
In terms of power source, the Palax D460 is available either with tractor drive or as a combination. The machine has a 3-point hitch for mounting on a tractor.
The Palax D460 features a powerful 20″ chainsaw bar with automatic lubrication. The intelligent PowerSpeed splitting automatically detects the required splitting force and speed, resulting in a work cycle up to 25% faster than its predecessor, the Ks 45s firewood processor.
