Scalable chain feed table for long and short timber
The Palax Midi is a robustly constructed log deck featuring a reliable chain feed system and hydraulic controls that enhance ease of use. It is an excellent choice when flexibility is required from a log deck: it is ideally suited for handling both large logs (2.4 m – 5 m) and shorter logs (under 2 m).
A log deck is an essential accessory for effortless and efficient firewood production; the Palax Midi is compatible with all our firewood processor models. Handling and aligning logs is easy using a joystick, which allows the chains to be operated both forwards and backwards. Finally, the log deck’s disc-based feeding mechanism delivers one log at a time onto the firewood processor’s infeed conveyor, moving it toward the cutting unit.
For handling short logs, we recommend an optional third chain beam positioned in the center (two chain beams at the sides are included as standard). We also recommend adding an optional extra feed roller to this third chain beam, as it significantly improves the feeding of logs into the firewood processor.

A good choice as a light pole rack from which logs can be fed by hand at working height. It suits contract work well, as the pole rack holds large quantities of wood, up to six cubic meters, and is easy to move around. Additional feed rollers (1–2 pcs) are available as optional extras.
The hydraulic log lifter raises logs from the ground to the right height for the firewood processor. One or several poles can be lifted at a time, depending on the size of the wood.
Our largest feed table, the Palax Mega, is an excellent choice especially for long logs, from 2.5 meters up to 5 meters. The table's capacity is about 12 cubic meters of wood, so it is best suited to feeding large volumes of wood.
