Palax is known for supporting the well-being of its employees, but the factory also invests in the hobbies of its employees’ children. This provides young people with opportunities to develop their skills in their chosen fields. One of these young talents is Rasmus Koski. Rasmus has been dedicated to his running hobby for four years, training up to six times a week. This demonstrates his determination and commitment to achieving his goals. Rasmus trains for both short and long distances, but the 300-meter race holds a special place in his heart. In August 2024, Rasmus won the Finnish championship in the 300-meter race for 15-year-olds.
Throughout his competitive career, Rasmus has represented Kauhajoen Karhu, a club known for its successful athletes. His coach, running trainer Miko Mettälä, has supported and guided him in developing as a runner. Additionally, Rasmus’s sponsorships are managed by Tommi Kärkkäinen/TK-valmennus, ensuring that this talented young athlete receives the support he needs. Palax has been supporting Rasmus’s competitive career since 2023.
Rasmus’s story is a great example of how relentless hard work leads to peak performance and how the support of communities and businesses can be crucial to the success of young athletes. Similarly, Palax’s success is built on hard work, innovation and a commitment to product development – the same elements that have made it a leader in the firewood machine industry. Palax’s story began in 1954, and the brand continues to grow and evolve as a pioneer in the field.
