Depending on the firewood processor, Palax splitting wedges are available from 2/0-way up to 2/12-way blades. The standard blade that comes with the machine is either 2/4 or 2/6. The splitting wedge can be changed in a few seconds with the quick release.

The PowerSpeed splitting increases the speed of firewood production.

The X-Aim accessory monitors the diameter of the log and adjusts the splitting wedge automatically, so that the end result is always consistent quality firewood regardless of the varying diameter of the log.
